Blake Atchison

Pastor, Executive Director

A former addict himself, Blake was a graduate from the Mountain Home Men's CareCenter Race Program in 2016 . A native of the Springfield/Ava area, he felt called  back to Missouri to start a CareCenter location in the Ozarks. The area has become known as having a serious heroin and opioid epidemic, and the need for Jesus and salvation from destructive lifestyle has never been more important than right now. As someone who has been there, Blake identifies well with his residents and can relate to their struggles, using God's calling on his life to reach these men, that often times have no other lifeline.  

Lacy Atchison

Co-Pastor, Office Manager

Lacy was a a graduate of the CareCenter Mountain Home Tree of Life Program in 2018. She also felt God calling her into leadership after graduation, and when she reconnected with her long-time, hometown friend Blake (also a graduate from CareCenter Mountain Home) God's plan for their lives began to unfold, and doors started to open after they married in 2019. CareCenter Missouri was started a year later under the leadership of this amazing couple, both with the heart to serve and give back to the very organization that gave them their break by opening their doors to them years before.

Chris Scalise

Men's Home Director

After more than 20 years of living in what he describes as hell, Chris came to the point where he knew that he was either going to spend the rest of his life locked up, or die.  Through answered prayer, God brought Chris to CareCenter Ministries Mountain Home. In Chris' words, "I am a living breathing testimony of God’s ability to do the impossible. I am proof that nobody is ever too far gone! God has a plan and purpose for each of us! Today, I am
blessed to be doing full time ministry and directing the men in our Missouri location. I get to pour into lost and broken souls and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. My mission in life is to be a servant and advance the Kingdom of God."
